- The couple will tie the knot at the Bespoke event centre today
The popular dancer Kafayat ‘Kaffy’ Shafau will be tying the knot with her partner John ‘Papy J’ Ameh today Saturday, June 2, 2012.
There will be a short Nikkai ceremony for the couple, followed by a reception, all taking place at the Bespoke Events Centre, Lekki, Lagos.
Already, the bride and groom have
arrived at the venue, while decorations and other fittings are being put
in place. Security is also present. The rain has began falling and
might slow things down a bit, but John seems not to be worried.
From a guest’s point of view, it looks
like it’s going to be a grand ball; a white two-seater couch has been
placed on the podium with a chandelier placed directly above it. We’ve
been told Photographers will only be allowed to take pictures on the red
carpet and not in the hall.
Kaffy and Papy J, who welcomed their
first child in December 2011, were last spotted together on Saturday,
May 26, 2012, at Funke Akindele’s wedding at The Haven, Ikeja.
